Understand your reserve, beyond a number.
Inside the tank, the probe measures the pressure of the water column. The unit sends readings over the NB-IoT mobile network. Once you enter the shape and dimensions of your tank, the app turns those readings into useful information: water height, estimated volume and changes in your reserve.

Place the probe in the water and mount the unit above water, following the instructions.

Turn on the device where NB-IoT network coverage is available.

Add your tank in the app, enter its dimensions and check the first readings.
Before choosing your sensor
Is it suitable for my tank?
The probe measures a water height from 0 to 5 metres. Check that the 5-metre cable lets you position the unit above water. Calculated volume depends on the details entered in the app.
How do readings reach my phone?
The unit sends measurements over the NB-IoT mobile network. You then view the Tankio app on your phone or computer.
Can I use it in an underground tank?
Yes, provided NB-IoT coverage is sufficient at the unit location. Walls, depth and lids may reduce reception: check the signal on site.
Can the unit be submerged?
The probe is designed to be submerged. The communication unit must stay above water and be installed according to the instructions.
Are readings continuous?
The app shows the latest transmitted readings. The interval depends on sensor settings; it is not a continuous live feed on your phone.
How do shipping and payment work?
